Ravoshia

It’s not uncommon for a long and dedicated dancing career to lead the way into a musical one. Indeed, quite often, these two go hand in hand and many young students of dance eventually turn their eye (and find they are quite accomplished) to the field of music, as well. This is the case for today’s artist, internationally acclaimed Ravoshia.

Now, Ravoshia is a fascinating young woman with a complex and highly artistic background. With her mother coming from Texas and her father from the Bermuda Islands, Ravoshia (nee Ravoshia Mone’ Whaley) was born in Indiana and awarded dual citizenship. In her childhood, she followed the courses of the United Dance Production in Bermuda, where she studied Classical Ballet.

As time passed, Ravoshia discovered a growing passion for making music and gradually began focusing on that side of her personality instead. Now, she’s making waves across the music scene with her hit single “Fashion Killa”.

Combining some sweet reggae with a highly melodious R&B and even with some shades of hip-hop, “Fashion Killa” has been rocking the radio stations in the United States, in Europe and even in Canada, making Ravoshia one of the hottest talents of today. Indeed, acclaimed magazine Hip Hop Weekly even dubbed her “Next to Blow”, and boy, were they correct. The music video for “Fashion Killa” rapidly attracted hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, and the artist herself recently broke the 1 million listeners record over on Soundcloud.

This unbridled success is due, in part, to the fact that “Fashion Killa” is an undeniably catchy and melodious song. But we’re sure that Ravoshia’s personality also played a huge factor in her fame. With a highly energetic and creative way of being, Ravoshia is one of those people whose passion is simply infectious. It rubs off on you. Through her song, through her stage performance, and definitely through her lyrics.

In just a few short years, Ravoshia managed to break through an overly-saturated music scene and breathe some fresh air into what we’re listening to. And for that, we thank her!
