Cardi B is the new face of Balenciaga.

The “WAP” rapper stars in the luxury fashion brand’s winter 2020 ad campaign. Taking to Instagram, Cardi shared the big news with her followers along with a photo of her first Balenciaga billboard that appears on the side of the famed Louvre museum in Paris.

“Ya lookin at the face of a @Balenciaga campaign!” said an excited Cardi. “I remember how I felt seeing myself on a billboard in NYC Times Square but PARIS! Wish I was there to see it in person!”

The ad, which was shot and styled by Cardi B’s team in her home in L.A., features the rapper lying on astro-turf while draped in a black dress from creative director Demna Gvasalia’s fall 2020 collection, according to Vogue.

This is Cardi’s first campaign for a luxury fashion house, but she is no stranger to the world of high fashion, appearing front row at shows for Chanel, Tom Ford, and Thom Browne.

She previously shouted out Balenciaga on her chart-topping hit “I Like It.” “I like those Balenciagas, the ones that look like socks,” she rapped about the brand’s Speed Trainer sneaker.

Prior to becoming the face of Balenciaga, Cardi also worked closely with Fashion Nova and launched her own collections with the budget-friendly brand, which sold out in minutes and raked in millions.
