Organizers of Rolling Loud, a hip-hop festival taking place in New York this weekend, say they have dropped five rappers from the lineup at the request of police. The New York Times reports that the performers were removed from the Rolling Loud festival after a New York Police Department official sent the organizers a letter citing safety concerns if the rappers took the stage. The traveling Rolling Loud festival is taking place at Citi Field in Queens on Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 12 and 13) and includes major acts like Wu-Tang Clan and Meek Mill. Jacquees recently releases his new mixtape, Exit 68, on Labor Day weekend on Monday. It is a 16-track project that features Trey Songz and Fresh Young Boyz. It gives the Atlanta native a personal feeling by not getting a lot of features. The release channels where he grew up on Wesley Chapel Rd. in Decatur, Georgia off of exit 68 calling home. Downtown Music Publishing today announced the signing of a global publishing administration agreement with Wu-Tang Productions, and owners Robert “RZA” Diggs and Mitchell “Divine” Diggs, to represent the iconic hip-hop group’s interest in songs from its back catalog of classic albums — as well as select works co-written or produced by individual Wu-Tang Clan members for solo releases, affiliates and other artists. After weeks of rumors and leaks, Travis Scott has announced his collaboration with the fast food giant. Taking to social media on Thursday, the Houston rapper made it official. “CACTUS JACK FOR MCDONALD’S,” he tweeted alongside a photo of Mickey D’s famous fries in the shape of the Cactus Jack face logo.
