7th Ward Shorty has the Midas touch. Any beat he lays hands upon is sure to turn into instant gold.

7th Ward Shorty is the definition of hard work and ambition. Coming up in the streets of New Orleans, his path fell down the wrong lane, eventually getting caught up in the street life. What would have been the end for many, was a blessing in disguise for 7th Ward Shorty. Instead of letting the past dim his future, he used it as fuel to propel himself into a position of financial stability and success. While living out his sentence behind bars, 7th Ward Shorty seized the opportunity to better himself. His faith in God, in turn became the strength to continue on the path forward no matter his circumstances.

7th Ward Shorty was determined to rejoin society better than when he left, and that’s exactly what he did. 7th Ward Shorty manifested his truth and dedicated himself to obtaining his G.E.D, studying Theology in The New Orleans Baptist Seminary, and obtaining licenses from the Department of Agriculture in Horticulture and Pesticides, all of which he accomplished.

Once 7th Ward Shorty was a free man, the streets would get banger after banger, quickly raising him up the ranks in the industry both as an artist and businessman. In 2020, 7th Ward Shorty hasn’t lost a step and is constantly developing his craft to heights past his already potent pen game. His next mission is the release of his forthcoming album, “STRESS”. While his fans await its release, 7th Ward Shorty is keeping appetites filled with three new tracks, “Get That Bag” featuring Keedy Black, “Tarzan” featuring Ziggla Da Wiggla, and “Believe” featuring The Game. On each track, 7th Ward Shorty does what he’s known for best, lyrical gems that spread a message to the masses.

“Get That Bag” is a motivational track yet hits heavy with matching production. It’s the track to inspire ambition and give the push to get up and go get it. An anthem for hustlers and go getters worldwide.

“Tarzan” follows suit to “Get That Bag” but uses a different vibe to speak to his fans. It’s raw and gritty, withholding nothing within the lyrics and passion. The energy of the track is a direct reflection of 7th Ward Shorty’s hunger. The motto of the track can be summed up in one powerful bar, “Carry your hood like you’re Tarzan or you’ll never be great!”.

The final track “Believe” comes from the heart. 7th Ward Shorty does not shy away from letting his emotions leak in his music, and that’s what sets him apart from the plethora of artists in the rap game. “Believe” is a call to all going through it, no matter status or location, to never stop believing. To always believe in the future and one’s dreams. It touches on tragedies in the news and he uses his come up as a way to give inspiration to those in dark times like he once was. The Game brings the track to an end, co-signing 7th Ward Shorty and reiterating his message in the song.

These new releases are nothing short of greatness as all of 7th Ward Shorty’s previous works. The upcoming album, which boasts of twelve songs, will be a treasure to the music industry when it arrives. Don’t get left behind when it releases.
